“In just a few short months, occupational therapy has truly changed our lives for the better. Our therapist, Aimee, is absolutely amazing—she brings so many creative, practical ideas that are simple to implement at home, and each one has helped our child grow in independence and confidence.

What stands out most is the way Aimee makes us feel seen and supported. She creates a safe space where we can openly express our needs and the realities of our daily life. With her guidance, we’ve been able to shape routines and strategies that not only meet today’s challenges but also build a foundation for a brighter, more positive quality of life in the future.

We are so grateful for Aimee’s expertise, compassion, and dedication. This journey has been nothing short of transformative for our family.

(Please use this publicly. I want everyone to know how life-changing using OT with HYM is.) Thank you!”

“Julie worked with my daughter for a speech virtual assessment. My daughter is very reluctant to participate in virtual anything, especially virtual therapy.

I was hesitant, knowing that my daughter does not respond to this type of therapy. She was born with Down Syndrome and thrives on face to face interaction. Julie however eased my concerns and we scheduled our assessment. To say I was impressed with the virtual assessment is an understatement. My daughter loved it and stayed engaged for over an hour.

There were interactive games, fun activities, and so many opportunities for learning. My daughter was sad when it was over and even asked if we could do it again. I feel like it was a great format that allowed for engagement and great communication! I have never seen a virtual therapy format that worked so well and that my daughter actually enjoyed! Thank you Julie!

“We are really grateful that we got to work with Lara the past several months. She has been great with our son and our family helping us learn and grow. She is very patient and understanding of what we are struggling with. She is always willing to work with us to find out what works best for our needs.

Our son has shown so much growth working with Lara and has been able to use his time during the sessions to create art to help him regulate his emotions and connect better with his feelings.

He is able to use these tools outside of the sessions to continue to work and grow. We are all in a better place having worked with Lara. Thank you!”
